As Mr Ballonist has labelled us the 'idiots' who prefer 'Junk Science'. I assume that he must therefore prefer 'Sound Science', which is now under scrutiny for the validity of many of its published finidngs. And why is that? Because of the influence ($$$$$) of the (pharmaceutical) industry behind research projects.
Should we always be grateful to Industry for the products they bring to us? Hardly, as in whose interest and beneift are Products floated on the market? The consumers or the Industry's? As Gasman, Mr Balloonist, The Old Gasman and others might just say: the Consumer's of course; then as with every service provider, comes the duty of care.
