A newer Tappan gas stove with self-cleaning oven and electronic ignition

I recently purchased my Tappan gas stove used. It has a self-cleaning oven and electronic ignition burners. There was no book with it and so I don't know how to set the timer, how to set the oven to come on at certain times - and really how I am supposed to set the temperature for the oven! When I called the 888-662-9199 number listed in the 800 directory for parts, the person who answered the phone was rude and even hung up on me! He said he was an INDEPENDENT contractor and didn't even know how to contact Tappan itself!

Does anyone out there know how to get a book that comes with my stove? Or how to contact Tappan to try to get one?
